Travelogue: An Artist's Journey Robin Ann Walker's Trip to Eastern Europe, October 2003 |

| When I realized that I was embarking on a trip of a lifetime, I started keeping a journal. It begins in April, 2003, when I applied for the "plenary" (which means all-inclusive) in Bulgaria, October 2003. It is an artists' collaboration, with seven invited artists (5 from US, 1 from Canada, and one from the UK) painting together with ten Bulgarian artists. As the story unfolds, and I travel to Eastern Europe, I will be updating these pages with information, insights, and photos. After the workshop, I am continuing my trip by going to Istanbul, Budapest, Bratislava and Prague. I wanted a full experience of Eastern Europe. | ||
